Gnome - Session start-up

Running the command "/usr/bin/play /path/to/my/wave/file" in
"gnome-session-properties" worked. Thanks !
I have tried the other alternatives before posting this message but they
did not work:
1.
Preferences->Sound Preferences->System Events(tab)->Log in.
with sound events - enabled.
2.
system Tools-->login screen open accessibility tab and
select the play a sound when login window is ready

/usr/bin/play (or playwave) /path/to/the/wav.wav
