using the latest Real Player 10 RealPlayer-0.4.0.186-20040615.i586.rpm
will no longer play the adio samples on amazon.com, error "The content
you are trying to play uses an audio codec that is obselete and no
longer supported. Please contact the contentprovider about using a
supported codec."

That is mighty weird.

It also does not link the executable to a place in your path, the new
path is /usr/local/RealPlayer/realplay I had to create a link to my
PATH myself (and remember to unlink it when I upgrade it or delete
it.)
