Loggin In Problem - 2nd Request

Hi all.......I am troubleshooting why I can't log into Fedora 2.6.6.1.
I created an account for myself.....and I can't use it to log into
Fedora...the error message says that the username or password is
incorrect.  I checked it -  I deleted and re-created the account - I
checked case.......I checked system logs to no avail.  I can, however,
log in as root.....any ideas, anyone?
