Still can't get the Nvidia driver to work

  Hi!  I just looked at /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit.  Setting the host name comes just 
before acpi.  I forget whether this is connected with nvidia, but a lot of 
people seem to have trouble with acpi.  I suggest trying to boot with acpi=off.
