  kudzu sometimes gets tricked into mounting /dev/sda 
  when it should be /dev/sda1 - as others are suggesting.

  I noticed that the file /etc/updfstab.conf.default on 
  both fc1 and fc2 uses "partition 0" for diskOnKey (leading to sda). 
  I have at least one suck diskOnKey that wants it to 
  be "partition 1" (sda1).

  You might consider adjusting this file or adding an entry 
  if your device is not recognized.
