Ahah! That's what I get for following instructions too literally late
into the night. Here goes:
00:00.0 Host bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-760 MP [IGD4-2P] System Controller (rev 11)
00:01.0 PCI bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-760 MP [IGD4-2P] AGP Bridge
00:07.0 ISA bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-768 [Opus] ISA (rev 05)
00:07.1 IDE interface: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD]AMD-768 [Opus] IDE (rev 04)
00:07.3 Bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-768 [Opus] ACPI (rev03)
00:08.0 SCSI storage controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic 53c1010 Ultra3 SCSI Adapter (rev 01)
00:08.1 SCSI storage controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic 53c1010 Ultra3 SCSI Adapter (rev 01)
00:09.0 RAID bus controller: Distributed Processing Technology SmartRAID V Controller (rev 01)
00:10.0 PCI bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-768 [Opus] PCI (rev 05)
01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: Matrox Graphics, Inc. MGA G400 AGP (rev 82)
02:00.0 USB Controller Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-768 [Opus] USB (rev 07)
02:04.0 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB (rev 41)
02:04.1 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB (rev 41)
02:04.2 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB 2.0 (rev 02)
02:05.0 Multimedia audio controller: Creative Labs SB Live! EMU10k1 (rev 07)
02:05.1 Input device controller: Creative Labs SB Live! MIDI/Game Port (rev 07)
02:08.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c980-C 10/100baseTX NIC [Python-T] (rev 78)
02:09.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c980-C 10/100baseTX NIC [Python-T] (rev 78)
I'll guess that device 00:09.0 is the Adaptec 2000S ZCR card (and that
it was originally a DPT product before they were bought by Adaptec).
Going back to the instructions at
http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-list/2004-May/msg03906.html for a
moment, I was able to hack my way through to fetching the i2o_proc.ko
driver from my laptop to the Tyan's local /tmp directory. I ran insmod
and lsmod to verify it loaded OK. The following listing is cleaned up a
bit for readability:

I tried both 'insmod i2o_proc' and 'insmod -o i2o_proc.ko', but it looks
like neither one loads the module. This correlates with what I see (or
rather _don't_ see) in Disk Druid.
Oh hell! I just checked the error log at ALT-F4 and see that I probably
should have extracted i2o_proc.ko from the non-SMP 586 kernel rpm. I got
this one from the SMP 686 kernel:
<3>i2o_proc: version magic '2.6.5-1.358smp SMP 686 REGPARM 4KSTACKS
gcc-3.3' should be '2.6.5-1.358 586 REGPARM 4KSTACKS gcc-3.3'

G'nite folks. Tomorrow will be another day. ;-P
