hi all
im running fc2 on amd64 on msi k8tm, kernel 2.6.7-1.492
i get this message when i open gedit to edit files from root
this may not be the correct way to open them, but its the only way i
know how too:
[root at localhost dovik]# gedit /etc/yum.conf
(gedit:4168): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:
Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols
specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.
gedit still opens and i can edit and save the changes, but why the
error?
next from /var/log/messages:
this first section is on shutdown
