apr-util is not installed - should it be? We're not using yum, and
updates are applied by hand.

The new subversion RPMs were downloaded from ftp.mirror.ac.uk, at
ftp://ftp.mirror.ac.uk/sites/download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/2/i386/subversion-1.0.4-1.i386.rpm
- this mirror has always been fine in the past, for RHL, FC and other stuff.

We've fallen back to 1.0.2-2.1 from the same mirror, which is fine, and
the following info is from the latest package:

bash-2.05b$ rpm -K subversion-1.0.4-1.i386.rpm
subversion-1.0.4-1.i386.rpm: (sha1) dsa sha1 md5 gpg OK

- the only signatures imported on these machines are Red Hat and Fedora.

bash-2.05b$ rpm -qpi subversion-1.0.4-1.i386.rpm subversion-1.0.4-1.src.rpm
