Weird process behavior

Finding my system not very responsive from time time, I decided to monitor top 
for a while. I had a number of apps open - OOo, konqueror, thunderbird, 
kmail, knode, etc.

There were some processes which I could not understand -

After every 10-20 seconds, autorun and soffice seem to climb up to number 1 
and number 2 in mem usage. soffice is minimized, and I havent been using for 
a while. Also why is autorun running so frequently?
