grub> copy from cdrom to /boot

I need to be able to copy initrd-2.6.5-1.358.img from a cdrom
to the /boot directory [ the FC2 upgrade failed to put it into
the /boot directory ].

I can interrupt the boot and get to the grub command line. Is it
possible from there to do the copy?

If I do not interrupt the boot (booting with the files copied
earlier from disc1: /isolinux/vmlinuz and /isolinux/initrd.img).
I get sent to the upgrade/install page everytime and it asks to
upgrade a php rpm from disc1 and compat-db rpm from disc3 and then
announces that the installation was successful and that I should click
on the reboot button. The system reboots and repeats the process ....
initrd-2.6.5-1.358.img is never installed.

My machine can not boot from cdrom.

Thanks.

Richard
