HP Deskjet 3650 no print

Hi List
I found a website stating I should use the hpijs driver for this little
USB monster. However, it just sits there...

Also, rather strange ( to me, since I know nothing of CUPS etc), when I
do a test print, the jobs appear in the /var/spool/cups folder, even tho
I configured the printer as "locally-connected"; I was under the
impression that CUPS was for network printers? )

Can someone help me to get this thing spurting ink?
