A couple of comments.

  - "Dual-boot Issues"
  The problem is not necessarily solved - just because it didn't happen to you.

   - uptime on 2.4.22-1.2115.nptl kenel is pretty good - but a bad example :)
   Recommend kernel is 2188 - as there are security updates - and other bug fixes.
