Can see smb, but can't use it ......

Hi there:

Just a quick question.

I have just install smaba using apt-get and there was no problem.

I am now looking at the '/etc/init.d' and I can see 'smb' but I can't seems
to use it. When I typed 'smb', it ways 'command not found'

Why is this? I am sure its really simple.
