Screen redraw in FC2

Running the Gnome desktop in FC2 I'm having some screen redraw issues. I
have a Matrox Mystique running at 1024x768. Whenever I drag a screen
around it ends up looking smudged (about the best way to describe it.)
Or when using gedit the text gets hosed up. This was also occurring
during the install. This did not occur in FC1 or Redhat 9. This also
occurs at any screen resolution. Any thoughts?
