There is no need to graphically login as root and it would be a very bad
habit to do so.

What do you want to achieve by the root login? There is surely a better
way. Typically it is enough to login as normal user and then run "su -"
in a terminal to have a root login. From there you can run things which
need root permissions. Or make use of "sudo".

Logging in as root (or with the administrator account) is something bad
that comes from the Windows[tm] area.
