I burned the discs in windows.
I tried buring them at different speeds. Additionally, the discs
work fine in an Inspiron 7000 and another desktop I have. I'm pretty
sure the discs are ok.
Its some sort of conflict between the old laptop drive and the cd-rom
drivers included with the newer distros. I just can't figure out a
work around.
I can't install the old distro and then update or upload the isos
because the hard drive isn't big enough...only 3 gigs.
Maybe this thing is ready for ebay and/or the trash?
