PPP not working ? Why ?

ping localhost ok,
ping assigned ip ok,
pinged remote machine ip (server) ok
pinged any machine by name except me, not ok
but in FC1 the kppp made the "assign default dns to this connection" or smtg 
like that automatically, so i could connect without any problems ...
