Camera mount/umount

This is funny...

When I mount a camera from the graphical interface of disk management, 
/mnt/camera is mounted and an icon apperas on my screen.
If as user I try to unmont from graphical interface, no way, two 
messages stating that device is busy, if I unmount volume from icon it 
is O.k..
As root I can unmount also from graphical interface....

Any hint?
