SOLVED Strange characters when displaying manpages

Yes, I am using outlook as client ( my desktop system is still a windows
machine )
Anyway, after searching with google I found someone telling that it could be
a putty problem and I had to change translation in putty to UTF-8. After
doing that everything looked fine again.
