Mozilla 1.7 Squid & Ipv6

If I surf by Squid (i.e. Mozilla is not directly connected to the net), 
shall I disable Ipv6??
Because I have two machines connected to Squid and I do not experience 
any lag with Ipv6 on, as in the standard configuration....
Any idea to make clear to me this problem???
