Glad that worked.  It is interesting that you had this problem without
using a kvm.  I believe up to now all the reports of this type of
problem involved a kvm switch.

There was another patch posted in the last week for these types of
problems.  A test patch for the mouse code in the kernel.  If you have
any other problems you may want to try that.

Also it would be good to know what type of motherboard you are using.
