gnome-session problem with FC2

It sounds like gnome-session has been lost, or at least it's no longer
in the PATH.

First try this on a command line, preferably with BASH:

# which gnome-session

If it doesn't show a full path name to gnome-session, either
gnome-session is no more on the disk, or the PATH is corrupted for some
reason, e.g. your .bashrc or such file is corrupted or missing.

Next try this one if the above showed a full path name:

# rpm -V $(rpm -qf $(which gnome-session))

The above line checks if the package containing gnome-session is OK.
Actually, that package should simply be "gnome-session" itself.

Let me know what happens.

Best regards.
