2.6 modules search path

Well, certainly not the best method, but IMO it's ok.
Since you just renamed the modules, they are still found, but AFAIK not used.
If you do modprobe cx88xx it should insert the module found in
/lib/modules/2.6.6-1.435/v4l2/
