Nautilus issues on upgrade forn FC1 to FC2

For those who might be interested :
On the Unofficial Fedora FAQ website (www.fedora.faq) I found a neat
solution to control Nautilus look & feel (other gnome apps as well !):

using the gconf-2 tool you can set almost any parameter.

gconf-2 -a /apps/nautilus/preferences 

gives you a list of all settings


gconf-2 --type bool --set /apps/nautilus/preferences/side_pane_view
true  

gave me my side pane back (the key was neither false or true in my case,
but empty).

Now, if I only could find a way to use the scripting facility in the
Nautilus manager....
