Dear Fedora Community, what do you want?

All we REALLY need is for hardware manufacturers to keep their secrets
inside their hardware/firmware, and NOT the software drivers. And, for
them to publish detailed specs on how to drive the hardware.

If they do that, anyone with a clue can write a driver, and anyone
else with a clue can improve on it.

IMHO, the problem is that hardware shops like to hide things about
their hardware inside their drivers, or at least they use that as an
excuse not to publish detailed specs.

That's all I think we want. Oh yeah, and I also want a pony... :)

Cheers,
Gabriel
