FC2 - KDE 3.2.2 - Hiding System Settings and Preferences menus

Subject says it. How to do that?

I've tried:

Using menu editor and delete them => they come back
Using menu editor and deleted their contents => They still show, only they are
empty now.
Deleting .directory files from /usr/share/desktop-directories/ => Still empty

I'm out if ideas now.
