Redhat 9 Pro does support SMP if it detects an SMP motherboard.  It does
not say how many in the manual.

Apparently there is an SMP kernel version on CD1.  I don't have the CD's
with me however.  I have not found anything that shows how many
processors it supports though.

Mosix maybe?  The only problem is that it works only in the 2.4 kernel
series yet.. (Which is not a problem if you're using Core 1). Take a
look at http://www.mosix.org/ .
