Help with 8-in-1 card reader

According to the modules.conf man page, "add options ..." and "options 
..." are equivalent. In any case, I tried both and got the same results.

Now, I'm not sure exactly what I _should_ be seeing in the message log 
for the 8-in-1 card reader, but I don't see anything referring to the 
Smart Media card sitting in the reader. I know from installing this on 
Windoze that the Compact Flash slot is the first LUN, but I don't have a 
Compact Flash card to play with.

So again I ask if anyone has a suggestion on what I'm doing wrong or how 
I can figure out what I'm doing wrong.
