Why, is there something wrong with the support in FC2?

Not a rhetorical question, I really want to know.  I am looking at
upgrading a T41 from FC1 (with the kernel-module-airo_mpi from Dag, which
works just fine) to FC2, and I thought that this support was supposed to
be built in.  I also thought I recalled reading here that the airo_mpi
module for 2.6 was being upgraded to support more recent firmware.
