Well, If everyone was honest you would probably find tons of people have
ripped the DVDs they've hired, It is pretty much like all those copies
of VHS people used to make. Well now you just copy the DVD to mpeg,
Many people have mentioned the need for DVD decoders before, I can just
imagine why!
Bottom line is There are many other forms of movies to play from hard
drive. Have you ever had some-one send a wmv, avi or mpeg via email.
Well to get a mail and discover Oh hell I need xine or mplayer can also
be a pain.

I haven't a clue, but here we call them "legal copies" :-> at the end of the day I don't distribut or resell
any of my movies,

Precisly if we included more tools like these it would make a better
desktop solution for home users.

Sure I know and you know what the deps are and we have all been to
fedorafaq, my point is that I never found fedorafag until I was running
mplayer which had a reference to it somewhere (or was it xine?)
It doesn't help to have online support when you don't have time to use
it.
Look maybe I will remain a wish, but we should look at putting some more
practical utils in the distro.

See my next wish list.

cheers for now
