mysqld & tcpwrappers

I installed mysqld (downloaded from mysql.com) and want to set up tcp
wrappers to use it.

So far, I have in /etc/hosts.allow

mysqld: x.x.x. 127.0.0.1
sshd: x.x.x. xx.xxx.xxx.x

(of course I'm not using x's)

I don't think that mysqld uses xinetd but I read somewhere that mysqld has
tcp wrappers support. How would I get it to work with tcp wrappers?

If it's too much, I'll probably just make iptables drop anything incoming
and only allow port 80 and 3306.
