Slow NFS performance

My server does not support TCP. And since I work with really large files
and need a high performance, I would rather use UDP. 
Anyway, with Redhat 9 on the client there was no problem with UDP, so I
suspect that the problem is in the Fedora kernel.

Thanks anyway, I might consider recompiling my server kernel with TCP if
I cannot solve it on the client.
