broadcom NetXtream NIC.. FC2 no like.

I upgraded my workstation from FC1 to FC2 (fresh install) and for some
reason the nic (broadcom netxtream BCM5782 gig/combo nic card -
tigon3) it doesn't like.   dmesg doesn't show anything useful.  It's
unresponsive and doesn't grab a dhcp address (no it isn't the
network).

/var/log/messages only says "dhclient: sit0: unknown hardware address type 776"

any clues?
