Agere/Lucent AC'97 AMR modem

[Per-Olof Litby - Reg'l Mgr Nordic/Baltic - Java System Software - Sun Microsystems]

Greetings,

My laptop has an Agere/Lucent AMR softmodem. I've tried to install the 
slmdm modem drivers, which are reported to work with this type of modem, 
but without success. Anyone who has a laptop with this type of modem 
working in Core 2?
