Sorry, Murali, you've downloaded the wrong file from the right location.  You need the RPM identified as "Linux/x86 (Sun JDS^1 , others^2 )" not the legacy file.  The file name is RealPlayer-0.4.0.186-20040615.i586.rpm - this should install without problems.
