RE: X interface lockup on exit



Seems to be a know problem. A workaround exists:

Change /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf line

#AlwaysRestartServer=false

To

AlwaysRestartServer=true

It worked for me. In my case the entire machine locked up.
