FC2 vs SOny NetMD MiniDIsk

Anyone tried getting a Sony NetMD attached to Fedora? Moved Windows to a
game only position and Sony only supplies some trash software for
Windows. Tried iTunes on Windows and one of our iMac's, but no go.
Neither can find the device.

Have seen notes about going optical, but would prefer to use the USB
connection hardware the darn thing came with.

Any hints or How To's would be greatly appreciated.
