vpn server setup help

Hi, I took a look at the link you provided and not sure what to download 
and build. Right now, I'm running pptpd-1.1.3-4, and ppp-2.4.2-2. I 
tried to configure pptpd but have not had the vpn working yet. Can you 
be more specific please. Thanks
