More details please?  Which version of Real Player? Are you using the 
player in standalone mode or connecting to a link on a web page that 
uses an embedded player?  Which browser?  If it's mozilla or firefox, 
have you tried the plugin help at http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/linux.html?
