samba Problem

No problemo!!  There you are.  About the LapTop missing, at one point 
(can't remember the setting I has at the time) but it was there.  I 
might have rebooted the laptop at one point, not sure.  One time, I 
could access /var but not /opt in spite the fact that they have the same 
settings.  I am all confused
