I tried to install the proprietary drivers. I uninstalled
xfree86-mesa-libgl and installed fglrx-4.3.0-3.7.6.i386.rpm from ATI's
website. I read this web page: http://www.maniac.nl/ferrari3000.html
and tried this config file:
http://www.maniac.nl/files/XF86Config-4.atidriver. (This person is
using the same notebook that my friend has.)

But after logging in, he says that the screen's colors are all messed
up.

What are the steps involved in correctly installing and configuring
ATI's proprietary drivers on Fedora?

Thanks.
