using CVS through Proxy.. How?

There are at least two ways:

  a) you control the proxy server and can setup an xinetd process with
REDIRECT
  b) your proxy may be misconfigured and you can use CONNECT ip:port for
anywhere (and not just SSLPorts)

Other than that, there may be http gateways for CVS, but you'd need a
special client...
