cdrom problem

This could be a IDE-cd driver issue -- I've had a similar problem with
my previous mobo, this always happened when I tried to rip audio tracks
from cds.

Right after your system boots, gather all info related to hdc and post
it here ("dmesg | grep hdc" might be enough). Also, if your ide-cd
support is compiled as a module, "modinfo ide-cd" might give you some
info about useful parameters you might pass to the module. You can see
which modules are loaded with "lsmod".

Also, just as a sanity check, post here the corresponding section of
/ect/fstab (the line where hdc appears).
