Yes, export CC=/usr/bin/gcc32

Also, make sure that your /etc/X11/XF86Config is set up per the README
file.

I am using this driver with the 2.4.22-1.2174.nptl kernel, KDE 3.2, and
Asylum FX5200 256 MB on a Dell 8200 with no problems.  It's almost fast
enough to play UT 2004.  I know, I know - I need a better graphics card
and I need to quit running mysql / postgres / apache / tomcat when I
play.

Also, as noted earlier the Klipper applet causes occasional window and
menu freezes.  Remove the applet from the panel and it will appear in
the system tray.  When Klipper is in the system tray the freezes go
away.
