Problems with shell users

I did some test with SSL. But it din't work. What I try is to
Login the root without a password from a secified host. But I was
Not aware that this will affect the whole system for every user.
With only root I can login.

How can I reset the settings?

This is really curious.

Did you check /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow for correct user account entries?
I suspect you have modified the /etc/ssh/sshd_config file in some way.
Or did you create any ssh client configuration for the user? Can you ssh
login with a different user?
