Does anyone have this procedures?

Rolf

How can I reset the settings?
Check which file you did modify. If you do not remember exactly what you did
modify you will have to get back the original files from the openssh RPMs.
You can extract the configuration files from the RPM either using mc or
rpm2cpio. The procedure was described here on the list some times before.

Oho, it is a very bad thing to let root login _without any password_!

If you really need something like that which means non interactive login
without need to type in the password, then configure ssh to use the pubkey
auth method and make use of ssh-agent. How to do that is described in
articles on www.fedoranews.org.
