Hi
this is what I have in my fstab for permissions etc.
//kids/C /kids/C smbfs noauto,users,username=laurence,
password=mypassword,uid=laurence,gid=laurence 0 0
all one line! laurence is a user name defined on the windows box and my
id on the linux box.
