Hi,

I upgraded from RH 9 to FC 1. At the end of the installation process
(FC1) the creation of the bootdisk (floopy) fails with an error saying
that the imange does not fit onto the floopy.

I need the bootdisk to boot my system because my bios is very old and
does not can handle large disks.

How I can manually create a bootdisk ? I have tried mkbootdisk but got
the following:

[root at muckla root]# mkbootdisk --device /dev/fd0 2.4.22-1.2115.nptl
Insert a disk in /dev/fd0. Any information on the disk will be lost.
Press <Enter> to continue or ^C to abort:
cp: writing `/tmp/mkbootdisk.bo2073/initrd.img': No space left on device
cat: write error: No space left on device
cat: write error: No space left on device
20+0 records in
20+0 records out

On my filesystem I have a lot of space:
[root at muckla root]# df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hdc1 5289380 253636 4767060 6% /
none 46508 0 46508 0% /dev/shm
/dev/hdc2 5289380 851912 4168784 17% /usr
/dev/hdc3 4806936 86124 4476624 2% /var
/dev/hdc4 61535972 6699660 51710468 12% /home
/dev/hda2 75962696 41632964 34329732 55% /Archive
[root at muckla root]#

Any help or link are welcome

cheers
Reinhard
