We have the same problem with Sybase and hardly fixed it. Unfortunately
my boss doesn't want Postgresql as he needs T-SQL for some reason, but
for you this is a good opportunity to revise those migration plans ;)

Anywany, with the problems we had, you should try sticking to rh 7.3.
