Compaq Armada m700 - XFree86 Problems.

At this point either there are different releases of the Armada M700
(and I have no idea how to check that) or we have a misterious bug
somewhere....
One thing, maybe, as the error seems to be related to the keyboard your
Armada has a US or a German keyboard?
